Today has been a fun filled day learning about Drupal. We're going to see what's required to maintain our Drupal site. Once we cover the best maintaince practices we're going to answer your questions on what Drupal can do or "How would I...?"

Now that we've made some content and learned about taxonomy we're going to see what blocks are and how they are used. Afterwards we're going to cover one of the most powerful modules in Drupal, the views module. With views we'll see how we can make lists of content and interactive blocks.

Now that we've installed Drupal we're going to see how powerful Drupal is as a Content Management System (CMS). We're going to be creating some content types, content and learning about the power of taxonomy.

Now that we've learned what Drupal is, who uses and all the fabulous facts about the Drupal community we're going to install Drupal. We'll be covering what's required to install Drupal, what the installation process is and a basic overview of the Drupal Admin interface. We'll also be covering how to install, enable and disable modules.

In this session we're going to investigate what exactly is Drupal? Who is using Durpal? Where did Drupal come from? This will be an overview of the Drupal community, how it's evolved and how it involves you.

Where to start? Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube - these public platforms are free to use, but they still require people and time to maintain and sustain an effective presence. What questions should we be asking to choose where and how we can best use these tools to serve our mission and support our constituencies. This session is a workshop that will help attendees focus on how to plan, launch and grow a strong social media presence that meets their organizational goals.

In this beginner level session, we will discuss the basics of theming a site in Drupal. This session is deigned for people who are new to Drupal and want to learn the first steps how to make it look the way that they want. You may want to have basic knowledge of HTML and CSS and a dash of PHP to feel comfortable, though it's certainly not required.

Using a base theme (Fusion), we will discuss the following:
1. What the different theme files mean (tpl.php, CSS, .info, etc) and how they interact to make a Drupal theme work.
2. How to make changes and override what Drupal gives you

Understanding the various field type modules that come with core and contrib. You will be surprised by all of the different use cases you can handle with the fields that are available in Drupal 7

We will cover the default field types that come with Drupal 7 core - and review the "article" content type.
